I sell on a website called Ruby Lane. RL has all sellers and buyers register and agree to Terms of Use/Sale (like all websites). They also have a partnership with PayPal. My question is if PayPal is obligated to honor RL's Terms of Sale in a transaction if a buyer has violated it, costing me money and the non-retun of my product. I have a buyer who has violated my and RL's stated Terms of Sale, causing me to have to pay additional money to get my item back ($200 for a $500 item!). PayPal has returned her money, I still don't have my item. If the buyer is in violation and doesn't deserve her money until I get my item, how does PayPal honor that? The claim she opened was closed in her favor. I have sent emails to PayPal with only automated responses. I called PP and spoke to a rep who said she would pass all elevant info along to a review committee. This morning the case was closed with no further response. Thoughts?
