Can a paypal representative please let me know when a seller will ever be in the right compared to a buyer. My buyer has an old company address in their paypal account which apparently according to them they have not been at for 16 months (so not sure why they haven't changed in on paypal), so consequently they never received their parcel. As it was a business address anyone at that address could have accepted it but the buyer claims they contacted the new company at that address and claim they have not received it. I had a proof of postage certificate that I obtain with all my parcels from the post office and I told the buyer I would put in a claim for them but had to wait 15 days to put in the claim (royal mail's rules!) and I thought I was being helpful but the buyer wasn't happy and put in a claim to get their money back through paypal straight away and consequently paypal have refunded them despite sending paypal proof of the postal certificate and pointed out that it really was the buyers fault that they had provided the wrong address. I'm steaming mad about this, in good faith I sent to the address provided by the buyer. The buyer also claims that they had redirection service with royal mail so I pointed out in that case that the post may take longer to arrive with this service as I've had this when moving house and had post turning up weeks later, however, I didn't think that you could have the redirection service for more than a year! I just want to know why paypal have judged in favour of the buyer??
