Don't know why they haven't fixed their system. You can call and they will verify there are no pending transactions and delete the card for you. Takes a minute once you talk to a live person. When calling, instead of going through all the prompts, just keep saying "Agent". This will transfer you to a live person.

I had the same problem for about 6 months. I called and the representative checked for pending transactions then deleted the card information. The whole process took about 2 minutes.

Doesn't look like e-mailing helps. Have you called them? It took about 2 minutes for them to verify I didn't have any pending transactions and remove the credit card I had on file.
