My story: I live in South Africa, and had just earned enough money to buy a nice laptop. I paid $416 directly into a sellers account (AliExpress). This is his address: This forum wont let me post an email address 😞 He sent me a tracking number a day later (RR606788517CN). Now my pain starts... I go to the post office and there is my "item". Customs also wants to nail me for $80. The item I received was a little plastic diamond. So, I go home, and lodge a "not as discribed dispute", thinking I'm protected. One escalated, within 5 minutes PayPal closed the claim and ruled in the sellers favour. I was livid. Im not a rich guy, and try my best in life. Now I have lost my work investment of $416. After some thinking, I emailed PayPay and asked them to open a "Not received dispute". I thought they wouldnt bother, but they have. I realise that I did receive an item, but to say it was significantly different is an understatement! If its this easy to scam people, PayPal is going to lose a lot of buyers. Now, where do I go from here? By the way, I never signed for the parcel. Its now on its way back to China. How do I win this one? How can prove that the parcel he sent was not the parcel I was paying for, therefore equating to a not received parcel? He has a tracking number. Whats to stop me from claiming it was a seperate "gift"? He actaully claimed this himself (he will send me a gift)... Please help. This is fraud, and I can promise you the seller is doing this to lots of people. Do good things, and good things will happen to you: Earl Hicky Sincerely, David de Bruyn
