I was trying to make a payment to my PayPal Plus Mastercard and the links to the account site had just vanished. I called the customer service and was routed completely around back to whare I started. I think I read that a lot of other people are having this problem with no idea when it will be fixed. I find it hard to believe that whoever runs this site will just eliminate all PayPal Plus Mastercard account functions without warning, and then expect you to use the over the phone payments from a bank account when you have money in your PayPal account that you cannot use. It takes up to business 5 days to transfer the PayPal balance to a bank account before you can then do a telephone transfer, and a lot can happen in those five days. I am disgusted by this, but it seems to be a trend to just **bleep** up the functions on a site without warning, and let the chips fall where they may for whoever needs to use the functions. While the customer service people tried to be helpful, it seemed to be completely out of their hands to directly contact whoever is responsible. I can tell you from experience that IT people are generally mercenary idiots when it comes to business operations, and every company that lets them lead changes without a lot of management will eventually be doomed. I have been on both sides of the fence, but giving the IT people too much ability to **bleep** things up while changing a website will pay a large price in customer dissatisfaction especially with a financial services business.
