Three months ago an eBay buyer bought an iPhone game account from me on eBay for $225. Shortly after I sent him the transfer code, so that he can play the app on his phone, he sent me positive feedback. I had assumed that everything fine since the entire transaction went very smoothly. Three months later, I'm doing my daily Paypal login and realize that Paypal removed $225 from my account. This resulted in my account having a negative balance, and also messed up my ability to transfer money to my checking account to help pay my bills for that month. Apparently, the eBay buyer had his card stolen and the credit card company issued a chargeback on all transactions on his card. I have no idea how this is possible, but apparently you can do this kinda nonsense here in the states. His card was stolen AFTER he bought my game account from me. I entered into the Resolution Center, and added all of the information I could about this transaction. I took screenshots of the positive feedback he left me, the conversations that the buyer and I had for the game account, and many other pictures that I assumed would be helpful. A few days ago, the buyer messages me on eBay and informs me that his credit card was charged again for the game account. He also told me that Paypal should be returning my money back into my account to me shortly, since his credit card recognized that the eBay transaction was valid at that time. So, the buyer "says" that he's been charged again on that card for the game account he purchased. Now, 26 days after the case was opened, Paypal closed the case and charged me another $20. Why? Because Paypal closed the case IN FAVOR of the buyer, despite the fact that the buyer even admitted that he purchased the game from me before his card was stolen. I've even proven this is the case through pictures, and have done everything in my ability to prove that the buyer was happy with his purchase. So I'm pretty disgusted that Paypal is incompetent to this degree. I've sent multiple messages, emails, and phone calls to Paypal. They refused to get back to me, and now I'm looking into taking Paypal to court becaues I can only do so much on my end. I've pretty much been stolen from. $245 is too much money to just throw down the drain when you do everything correctly, and trust Paypal to treat you properly. So if anyone has any information that would streamline my ability to take Paypal to court, then I would appreciate it. Jon
