I purchased a bed for my daughter on eBay with the "Buy It Now" option. I paid for the bed on May 30th. The company sent a bed within about 2 weeks -- unfortunately the headboard was damage so I refused shipment. The company sent another bed to replace it and everything looked fine. I signed the shipping papers. That night my husband tried to put the bed together and realized that one of the metal pieces on one of the bed rails was bent/crushed. I emailed the company and they responded that my husband should try to fix it with pliers. He tried that last night; however, the metal piece was pushed in and try as he might, it will not go back into it's original form and fit into the headboard slot. I emailed the company back last night and asked that they send another rail to replace this damaged rail. I'm waiting to hear. I do have faith that they will respond and take care of the problem, but I've been wrong before........can I put a hold on payment until this is resolved? I know that there are so many days on eBay and PayPal to dispute a purchase and it's already been over 30 days. How long do I have? Thanks!
