Marginal Holdings can be Defeated. What ever they have already taken is a loss. But if you use a bank with a good security system, you can go into the app and stop further payments via the account or the card. It won't matter what they do from there. I never authorized such a transaction and if it does go to collection, they just lost more money. Remember collection agencies are toothless barking dogs. Ignore them and they will go away. They won't want to pay the expenses to go to court to get an order for that small an amount.
