I live in the Philippines, and am a freelance digital artist. I am experiencing an issue about holds on the money I receive. I don't know what to do... I have a client who's interested in commissioning me. The commission process has three stages. The first one is a little down payment for me to start the drawing. The second one is when I send a rough idea of their requested drawing, then they send a small sum again. Then third is when I'll send the full illustration and they pay in full. We are currently in the second stage, where the order is "In Progress." Does that have anything to do with why the payment is pending? I'm just worried that the same would happen on the 3rd stage of the commission process— the full payment.
