Whatever you do, avoid cash advanced at all costs. I sent my ex wife $1,000, last year in April and used cash advance, thinking it would be paid off with my monthly transactions. Ive paid thousands and thousands of dollars as my PayPal payments for credit, often need to be $300-$400 a month to keep from incurring interest on 6 month same as cash purchases. Well, I never looked into the fact that paying back the cash advance, needs to be done after the first month, or it keeps accruing interest. I cash advanced $1,000 18 months ago, and that cash advance is now $1,628. I thought i was paying it down as I was making $300-$400 payments, a month, but it was apparently never touching that advance. I feel like I've been ripped off. There is no way to pay down the cash advance without paying your whole account amount down. Its insane.
