PayPal/Synchrony decided to close my PayPal Mastercard account suddenly due to what they claim being potentially “high risk” although I’ve always paid my balance on time and even early for the most part. Although that alone was frustrating knowing I was always on top of the monthly payments, the real issue comes from the fact over the years I’ve accumulated couple thousands of dollars worth of cashback on my account that I stupidly didn’t redeem thinking something like this would never happen. Come to find out, even though I did nothing wrong, they are denying my right to receiving the cashback I rightfully earned. I understand this is written in their policy that having an account closed automatically forfeits the rewards on the account, but considering my particular situation in that again I DID NOTHING WRONG THAT GOES AGAINST THEIR POLICIES, there has to be something that can be done regarding this I’d hope..
