Hi all I'm new here and in need of some very important help. I'm really hoping I can get this resolved. I've been a customer of PayPal credit for over a year now (maybe a year an a half) and have never missed a payment. I've even cleared my account a couple times and made larger than minimum payments often. I again cleared my account just before Christmas, but then made a purchase again. As a result I did not need to make a payment for a month, then for my January payment I used the PayPal app to make my payment for the first time because I was out and about and it seemed more convenient. What I did not know, was that this payment failed for whatever reason, and I did not know until I have just seen my credit report a few days ago. I am in the middle of applying for a mortgage, hence why I am very concerned about the impact of this. I am trying to contact PayPal about this, so I used the messaging system first (as instructed by PayPal help) - but my messages weren't replied to and then just marked as "closed". I then tried to send a complaint using the form, but this does not work either. As soon as I realised the missing payment, I made the payment again (of £100 - when the minimum was only ~£5 I believe) and I am trying to find a way to speak to someone who can amend the entry in my credit report, as the missing payment is not my fault. PayPal didn't even so much as send an email about a missing / failed / late payment of any kind. I have not once missed a payment until this error and would very much like to resolve this please.
