My 12/27/22 payment finally got credited on 1/11/23.  That's 16 calendar days/11 business days.   I just re-read the beginning of this thread.  Now I wonder if this mess is somewhat normal with PayPal?  I wonder if any of our complaints here, in twitter, or elsewhere like bogleheads makes any difference.  So PayPal bill payments can take anywhere from 1 business day to 11+ business days? ... My credit card company Chase told me the temporary credit is only good for 30 days.  They still need proof the payment is made.  They asked me for a transmittal report, which PayPal doesn't have.  I think PayPal needs to fix this problem. ... View more

12/26 is Christmas holiday in US.  So transactions made on that day would be considered as 12/27.  The missing payment may be related to Holiday black hole in PayPal's system. ... View more

@PayPal_JonK There has to be some issue.  Multiple people are reporting similar problems across multiple payees.  In my case, PayPal has taken money out of my bank, but didn't send it to my payee.  Could you please help finding the bottom of this?  Is there a middle man between PayPal and the payee?  Could you check with them to see what happened? ... Same problem here with a payment to Chase Freedom Flex done on 12/27.  I called paypal customer support and they said the payment was completed.  I called Chase and they said they didn't receive the payment.   Chase asked me for a transmittal report to show proof of payment.  Paypal couldn't provide it.  They could only give me a re-print of the transaction confirmation.   Please Paypal.  Please fix this issue. ...
