I usually pay off my balance in full each month and was suprised that I got hit with an interest payment of 23%. I missed the payment by $69 because I paid before the final day thinking everything was in and I was traveling. I called to have the charge removed, spoke with 2 separate reps thinking for sure I am not going to pay 23% interest. Customer service said all charges are firm and interest rate is non-negotiable. I said really? I had no choice but to cancel my card. So my message goes out to all of PayPal Employees: American Express would never do this to me. OMG. Good luck with that business model PayPal. Don't you know how heavy the competition is going to be in the next 5 years? Guess not, you will win no loyalty this way. C Ya.
