I ALMOST fell for this scan too but just when I was about to make my payment in paypal, I noticed that the payment recipient's name is in chinese characters. This has been the biggest red flag that made me back out. Also, wasnt sure if the paypal site was a redirect so I immediately reset my password and set up a login authentication on the actual paypal site just to be on the safe side. Sometimes, the gullibility of people overcomes common sense. I almost belonged to this category!
