Hi everyone, So I was in the same position as many of u with this company and after looking into several different ways to rectify this, I found 2 possible solutions! 1. The first thing I done was to call my Bank (in my case this was the HALIFAX) an ask them to BLOCK any further payments to Actitech immediately! I then asked if there was anyone else I could speak to with regards to reclaiming any money already paid to them and was put through to someone else (I’m sorry I don’t remember the name of the dept) who took all the details and then advised me that I would be reimbursed the next day! Infact I received with an hour of this conversation! I have no idea if all banks would do this but it’s certainly worth an ask! If this doesn’t work then ….. 2. Contact PayPal direct with all the info u have on Actitech, dates, figures etc and ask them to open an Investigation into it, explaining there are MANY more people that have fallen victim to this and u may be able to claim some/all of yr money back thru PayPal.
