Thank you for the information. I am on vacation outside the US so was hoping to be able to use my regular US account while I'm traveling. I will set up an account in this country then delete it when I get home. Thank you again for the clear, concise, explanation.

P.S. I just tried putting my US SIM back into my phone and tried again. I get the same error "This type of phone number isn't supported" but it's the same phone number as my online account and I checked it for mistakes. Any advice is welcome as I'm out of money and they only accept cash or Paypal.

Using Paypal App: Tyring to pay using the app (I've had an online account for over 2 decades). I login, but then am asked for a "Quick Security Check". Asks me to add phone #, but when I do, it won't accept it. BTW, my phone number is in my account online. Is it because it's a US account and I'm outside the US using a non-US SIM card? If I put in my SIM card, I don't know if I'll get texts.
