It appears very confusing about what PayPal Here is, Zettle is, which app to use, etc. It appears PayPal is transitioning to Zettle. Zettle appears to have several major drawbacks: 1. Does not allow swipe. PayPal Here card reader (which I found at https://us.paypal-here.com/paypal-chip-and-swipe/ on 02/21/2022 called "Chip and Swipe Reader" apparently does, but does not accept tap. Also this FAQ https://www.paypal.com/us/smarthelp/article/faq3061 says it is Part Number: PCSUSDCRT. But I fear this is about to be discontinued.) 2. 24 hours until you get your money. The money goes to zettle, not your paypal account, and then gets transferred from your Zettle account to your PayPal account. I am used to my money being in my PayPal account instantly. That's what I want. It appears Zettle does allow key entry, which is good, for an additional fee. I think PayPal Here card reader also had an extra fee for keyed. It also appears you need the Zettle app, not your PayPal Here app (which I already have) to use Zettle. What have I got right and what have I got wrong? Are we really giving up the money going straight into our account immediately forever? No other option?
