@Ed_D If recipient has access to the email address account the money went to, they can add and confirm that email address to their PayPal account to claim funds or establish a PayPal account for that email address to claim money. Usually when a payment is unclaimed, it is returned to sender after 30 days. I don’t know how the money wasn’t returned unless money was sent to an email address with a PayPal account already established and somehow the recipient don’t have access to that PayPal account or it’s not their PayPal account. I doubt there is anything you can do about it. Too much time has passed. You can call customer services and ask them about it. Look up the transaction in your account Activity page. Does the status say “Money Sent - Completed” or “Refunded”?
