Firstly, do not worry. You will be fine. If the money was sent to the bank account linked to your account, then it will eventually arrive there. It may take some time, but at the end of the day, everything will be OK. When it comes to authorization of the transfer, I am more than sure that there will be a good explanation to this as well. No criminal mastermind hacks your PayPal account, only to send the available money to your bank account. Situations like this can be frustrating and even induce panic. They may also make you overthink things. Just take it easy. As I said, everything will be OK. What is weird though - that the “worlds safest” money transferring platform does not provide 24h customer support and leaves people like you hanging in situations like this. @kernowlass Firstly - The answers are not the same. They might be very similar, especially when the problems people post are very similar in nature. Secondly - I only answer to a very specific problems. Ones that I feel confident giving answers to. Especially problems caused (mostly!) by the PayPal’s bug filled system. In these cases (I speak from the experience) it is better to just wait, as 80% of the problems seem to magically disappear themselves. Second best option is to start juggling the browsers and apps and clear your history and cookies. And that is exactly what I recommend. In a more organized manner of course. Thirdly - There’s also nothing wrong about calming people down. Letting them know that others too are having problems and that everything will eventually be OK. PayPal will not leave them hanging. Finally - look at the questions I reply to (mostly about pending transfers, people having trouble when trying to add cards, and people worried about losing the money after refund was issued to a wrong bank account, etc.). Sure I can lay all that technical info down and say that it takes 14 days after x; y; z and the money will appear back on your account, but the most important thing is to calm people down FAST. Take the worry off their shoulders and direct them to contact customer service. Think about it - 99% of the time people posting here is because the customer support is closed and they are worried about their money. Best we can do is to offer these people a peace of mind. Yeah, sorry to hear that you are having troubles with gcash. It is rather regular here. Just hang on there. You'll eventually get there. It might take a while, it might require a lot of chatting with customer service and it might drive you nuts, but in the end everything is going to be fine. After all, it is PayPal. These issues tend to go away themselves over time. Like magic.   Meanwhile, you can try few things: 1. If you have been using PayPal website when attempting to add the card, try to use app instead. 2. Then again, if you have been using the app, try adding the old card using the website. 3. Sometimes using a different browser might help. Especially when you are an Apple user like me. Boy this Safari is something else. Have you tried Firefox? As a mac user, whenever I stumble on anomalies like you describe, I use Firefox and 99% of the time I will get the expected results. 4. Is the "old card" still valid? 5. In PayPal they put immense manual labor into making every transaction happen. That is why it is almost never instant. It sometimes seems like someone in PayPal physically carries your money from account a to account b. Hang on there. There is not much you can do. Yeah, sorry to hear that you are having trouble with linking your card. It is rather regular here. After 1.4 million error messages (every single one of them different) and after spending 2 days on phone with customer support, I managed to get my card linked. Just hang on there. You'll eventually get there too. It might take a while, it might require a lot of effort and it might drive you nuts, but in the end everything is going to be fine.   A few things you might try: 1. Try to add your card using mobile app when you have been attempting to do that on the PayPal website. 2. Try to add your card via PayPal website when you have been attempting to do that using the mobile app. 3. Try using different web browsers. Firefox is rather good one. 4. Have you tried all the browsers? What about Onion? 5.
