The answer to this question "Why can't I use my Instant transfer as a choice when I check out?" is something I have been seeing over and over for months now. The answer is always a variant of the same thing, "PayPal’s security systems are probably the reason" They acknowledge the problem but don't seem to care that before too long we will quit using them all together, but they know that for the people that run businesses using PayPal and EBay together are more likely to keep using PayPal to keep their business going without down time. I had to use the eBay help 1-866-877-3229 and have them transfer me to the PayPal help line (Login, Click "Contact Us", Click "Call Us") because the automated system would go into a loop that would never connect me to anyone or thing. When I did finally talk to a Human being on PayPal’s help line she admitted to me that "PayPal is have issues right now and are trying to fix it.", that's an administrative answer if I ever heard one, just like the security garbage. I suggested to her that PayPal send out a mass mailing to its customers with some kind of message telling them they are having problems, she said she noted it ad would pass it along. The credit cards are current and verified with a human being at the credit card companies, but PayPal thinks they are out of date and will not give the option to update them, I have tried over and over and over again just to receive one of two error messages, either” We're unable to process your request at this time. We are currently experiencing technical difficulties and unable to process your request at this time." or an error message that would be given to me after I clicked on the card I wanted to update. PayPal will not let me update my credit cards. I think they are doing it to force use to use their credit card to make money on the interest rate which I am sure is makes more money than the fees posed on the transactions of a instant transfer, that just my opinion. The Work Around is the suggestion of the woman I talked to at PayPal, Transfer money from your bank account to PayPal to allow transactions to pull from PayPal itself indirectly using your bank account, but what a pain after being spoiled with the system they created in the first place. So you will have to know in advance how much money you’re going to spend as there is no limit on that transfer only a limit when pulling money out of PayPal which is good security, but I am pretty sure no one here is going to move their entire paycheck onto the PayPal sever to enjoy hassle free experiences that we have all grown together with in this great community. My next move will be to publish the owner’s info as it is public information, my friend got his BBQ grill fixed by calling the owner of the company's home several times and sending letters directly to his house, it got results. Can't wait to hear the next round of administrative answers.
