Sorry to hear of the trouble.
Usually, an account limitation blocks the ability to make changes to the account. I recommend reviewing details about the limitation and steps needed to resolve the limitation in the Resolution Center. Once the limitation is resolved, you shouldn't have any issues updating the card on your account.
