PayPal did nothing at all to help me get my money back from a fraudulent website. I placed an order at Wehap.com, the website looks completely legit, but after I placed it, payment went to a Xiaolei Li, that's when I knew something was wrong. I got no confirmation, PayPal would not let me cancel it. I contacted them immediately. I had to open a dispute, PayPal said the seller gave them some bogus tracking that I received the package the very next day. And now the website doesn't even exist. I am outraged at PayPal. I have used PayPal for many many years thinking in had buyer protection. I will closing my account now. There clearly was no investigation done.
