Hello all, A month back I suddenly saw an unauthorized payment for Airbnb on my account. I immediately filed a report for unauthorized payment on the website. They did what they could and cancelled the payment with Airbnb and closed the case saying there is no way I could get my money back. Now a few days after that a friend calls me and asks me if I had a transaction on Paypal because by accident ( because I have paid something on her PC with PayPal in the past at some point) she paid het Airbnb with my account. She told me she would transfer me the money back and apologized. But the damage was already done, Airbnb had already cancelled her booking as well, so she had to book again and pay (with her account this time). The money from the first booking is gone, Airbnb doesn't have it. I definitely don't have it. But it's blocked by PayPal. I can't file a new report on the old case, I can't seem to get a phone number or email address to get in touch to file this problem. This is not cool at all. Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance.
