Good Morning Olivia, OK I understand the process... but I still want to know if there is a way to STOP PayPal from AUTOMATICALLY disputing the chargeback. I will ALWAYS refund a customer and I accept ALL chargebacks - I do NOT want to dispute them and I do NOT need PayPal to dispute them and charge me $15!

Thanks for your response. I guess I didn't put my question properly. I know a chargeback is not a dispute. My issue is that I did NOT want Paypal to intervene and automatically respond to the chargeback. I was never given a chance to say the chargeback is OK I do NOT want to dispute it. I would have refunded the buyer's money if he had asked me directly. So my question is how do I tell Paypal NOT to fight/dispute a chargeback?

After signing up on PayPal a customer realized they didn't need my service. But instead of contacting me they did a chargeback. I would have readily refunded their money but PayPal automatically responded to the charge back and disputed it! How do I stop PayPal from automatically disputing a chargeback? I explained in several emails to PayPal that I did not want to dispute the customer.

Thanks Michael! With a little finagling I managed to get both apps working. It would be nice if PayPal would change the color scheme on the apps icon. Both are BLUE! How about making the Biz app green. 🙂
