We have PayPal buttons on our site, and when we send a customer to pay for multiple items, there may be different discounts applied to each item. Once the customer logs into PayPal to pay, I think they *used to* see each item with it's own discount, and then a total at the bottom, like this: Item 1: $100 less discount: -$10 Item 2: $50 less discount: -$1 Total: $139 However, what PayPal is showing now is like this: Item 1: $100 Item 2: $50 Item Total: $150 Discounts: $11 Total: $139 The problem is, if they need to get a refund for just one of the items, it is hard to track how much of a discount was applied to that specific item, so we would like it to show the old way. We have a WordPress plugin that sends the code, and the HTML it generates is a button that submits a form to <removed>. The HTML *does* indicate the discount per item in the form we submit. e.g. <input type="hidden" name="item_name_1" value="Item 1"> <input type="hidden" name="quantity_1" value="1"> <input type="hidden" name="amount_1" value="219.00"> <input type="hidden" name="discount_amount_1" value="51.75"> <input type="hidden" name="item_name_2" value="Item 2"> <input type="hidden" name="quantity_2" value="1"> <input type="hidden" name="amount_2" value="123.00"> <input type="hidden" name="discount_amount_2" value="19.90"> ... rest of form hidden ... Is there another way to send the request so that the customer will see the discount per line item both in the PayPal checkout process and also in their confirmation email from PayPal? If not, I may just have to apply the discount on my end and send the discounted price over, but I prefer to let the user see how much of a discount they got. Thanks for your help!
