Yep.. I saw a good ad on Facebook for sunglasses out of the US, that adjusted to the light intensity and were also polarised for fishing as you could see below the glare coming off the water. The glasses looked solid and flexible and were priced at $US19.95. I expected to pay the exchange rate and freight, but I did not expect to pay tax or insurance, for which I did not receive any notification. So the parcel was shipped and I received almost daily updates until it finally arrived by post. I received a small box in a small post bag. The box was crushed and when I opened it I found a pair of the cheapest plastic sunglasses which I could have purchased from a 2 dollar shop. The lenses were flexible plastic which were not light sensitive and did not offer any polarisation to negate glare on water. In other words I was scammed paying top dollar for a 2 dollar piece of rubbish. I have since organised a return refund through PayPal and have sent the rubbish back to China where it was sent from. So we have serious misrepresentation and fraud by shipping a piece rubbish in place of the item ordered. By the way, the return post cost me another $ADU21.00. This will definitely make me think twice about online shopping. FYI, PI have had a few like this in the past and PayPal have done right by me everytime.
