PayPal continues to knowingly receive compensation from sellers regularly engaged in fraudulent activity. This should be illegal and at the very least PayPal should be ashamed of themselves. I have been a member since 2004 with thousands upon thousands of dollars of transactions and failed to protect me from a recent transaction with an unethical seller. When the transaction went south, I followed all the steps required to initiate a resolution. After 2 month of the case staying open, the suddenly closed the case stating that I did not provide proper return tracking information. The problem is that I did and can easily follow the tracking on the USPS website. PayPal's website states that I can initiate an appeal within 10 days of the decision but no "APPEAL" button can be found. After reading all the similar complaints as mine, it is clear that PayPal is not interested in protecting buyers as they claim rather they choose to continue receiving the sales commissions from Chinese sellers. There are many other payment platforms and I for one will be giving them my business.
