I sent US$250 on 13 June to the email shown on an invoice. (It is Gmail). The correct recipient has not received it, so I checked. Money went to an "AIM.com" (old AOL domain) address but that person has the same name as the recipient. This email is not in Google, so there is no way I could have discovered it by accident. How can this happen? The confirmation email from PayPal only says I sent money to a name, but does not show the email - I wish it did. I raised a dispute, but the process says I need to wait for a month to elapse. I also filed a chat report suggesting a system error. I was reading their long reply, but that refreshed the page and it vanished. What I read basically says I have to wait for the wrong recipient to respond. I have sent the amount to the service provider, taking care to keep screenshots this time, so I hope it goes through.
