Go get the case reopened/appealed call in, go to the message center, try paypal facebook, or paypal twitter get a hold of a rep and give them the documents/information.

So cause they went to their financial institution they would automatically win if that institution rules in their favor and they would indeed run off as you said you cannot fight the case if they did that. So you should make it a court case against the other party if this doesn't resolve in your favor cause paypal will tell you they cannot do anything about it.

Call paypal customer service, go to paypal's facebook page, go to the messaging center, or go to paypal's twitter to have one of them help you add in the files cause this is a common problem with how bad their website and resolution center has been. For a lot of users the page wouldn't even load in fact.

If the buyer was able to go through their financial institution or paypal sees that it's on a different IP than their correct location they will side with the other party and you cannot win the case. If you want to try to dispute it you will have better luck just messaging them in the message center, their paypal facebook page, their paypal twitter page, or calling paypal to get a representative to help you.

Did they open a dispute case on you and is it item not as described/or not received? If it is provided the tracking information and other information that states otherwise that you have given them the goods/services that they paid for to paypal. Also if they have not it means they know that they are trying to threaten and scare you into refunding the payment that they know they cannot win the case for.

If the buyer charged back through their card or bank they can auto win the case. Unless you got paid in goods and services and they dispute using item not received or not as described you cannot have any chance of winning

If you paid through card go to your card provider first to do a chargeback/unauthorized activity. I you paid through paypal good & Services you have buyer protection so call a representative is faster than trying to figure it out with their resolution center have them open the case as either as item not received or item no significantly described whichever makes more sense then when opened make sure paypal lets you attach proof to the case. They have been siding a lot with the other party lately.

If you paid using a card dispute it with them over the charge by doing a chargeback you aren't the only ones that paypal sided against when the seller sent tracking info for goods that you don't receive or someone else obtained.
