Hello, I am currently dealing with an issue with my PayPal account. To explain, I used to live in the Netherlands until March 2020. As a result of the pandemic, I had to move to Australia. Unfortunately, I was not aware I could no longer use my current account which is based in the Netherlands. My account has been temporarily limited and PayPal requires me to have proof of address. I was informed by a customer service agent that, because my account address is different from my current address by country, this account would be permanently limited. I am more than willing to close this account if I can no longer use it because I'm in a different country and won't be able to provide proof of address for the one on my profile, but I have funds being held by PayPal, which were obtained through selling clothes on Depop. If this account becomes permanently limited, I know opening another account with the same credit cards will cause an issue, and this would be absolutely horrible, as PayPal is a trustworthy platform I have been using for years.
