Hello community, So here's the situation. I opened a business with a bunch of friends back in 2009 and I was in charge of all the operations. We registered the PayPal account under the name of our ex-CEO and his old number. Fast-forward to now and the business didn't survive, we've all disbanded and I've lost touch with the ex-CEO. Now my own email address is still associated with that account and I would like to have it available for use with PayPal BUT customer service is saying that they cannot do anything b/c it is that person who has to put in the request to change the phone number / cancel the account / etc. Is there anything that can be done (e.g. forward to e-mail so I can send screenshots and ID identifying me as the owner of the e-mail account) OR is my personal e-mail forever to be stuck associated with an inactive account that I can no longer access because it is associated with someone who I know longer have contact with?
