I purchased a weight bench with multiple function which looked great. When I received it a realised the product was not useable unless you dismantle certain part (something not described) the bench shouldn’t be allowed to be sold at all due to its various design faults: the preacher pad is too small and adds too much pressure to elbows, it also hits the leg extension component (this needs to be removed with tools), the leg extension hits the preacher pad (which also needs to be removed for use), the fly press doesn’t function at all, and the incline has the barbell going through your face. PayPal have reviewed this and told me the sellers policy doesn’t allowed returns due to ‘items not as described’ or ‘not delivered’ but how can this be possible, I can’t be expected to just have a bench that doesn’t work at all? And doesn’t UK law cover items not as described/unusable, how can a ‘policy’ come above that? I’m am genuinely shocked at their response...
