I paid for a watch on eBay that was described as a genuine Breitling watch that needed significant repair. Received the watch in February 2021 and sent it to a certified repair service. In April 2021, the repair service determined it was a counterfeit watch and sent me a full diagnostic repair explaining their findings. I submitted a dispute to PayPal with copies of the report, the original eBay listing, etc. PayPal said the watch was not significantly different from the sellers description. How can that be? The watch was described as a genuine product and a certified, accredited repair service said it was NOT a genuine product. I appealed the decision and was still denied. What else can I do? How can PayPal support a seller that provided a counterfeit product?
