I've had my account since paypal was x.com. Paypal now requires a phone number for me to log into my account. However, it won't accept the phone number I provide. It says it doesn't support this 'type' of phone (I have no idea what that means). I tried both call and text, no dice. This is literally the only phone number I have - I don't have any other phone number to provide. I used to just click on "do it later" but apparently that's not an option any more, so I can't log in. I tried to contact customer support from the webpage, but both calling them and using the chat feature require me to be logged in, which I can't do. I tried contacting them on twitter, but all I got was an auto response directing me to the customer support page which I can't access without logging in. This seems to be something of a catch-22. Any way to get help from a human being? Or get them to accept my phone?
