You wrote, “I got an email from Paypal about my account. I was concerned because I do not have a Paypal account.” The most likely explanation is that the email you received is a scam. To confirm, click “Forward,” then look at the actual sender email address from the message you received. If the sender is not from PayPal.com (which is almost certain), simply ignore it. I get several of these messages each week from various banks I don’t use.

I don’t use PayPal often, so I don’t mind 2FA. It makes me feel more secure. However, I have a related issue. Every time I login from my iPhone 8, I get an email that an unfamiliar device logged into my account. It is the same device as always. How can I get PayPal to remember my device without disabling 2FA?
