So I recently received payment for a job I'll be working in a couple weeks. PayPal has placed the funds on hold and says they will be released one day after delivery. Problem is, this is a service so there's nothing to be delivered. So how do I get my money? The solution offered from the Help Center instructs me to update the order status, but the steps they list to do so are impossible because the options they tell me to select don't exist. There is nothing that says "get your money," nor do I see an option to select "Service or virtual product." I've been a PayPal customer for well over a decade and only started this business account because I was under the assumption that it'd be just as painless as my personal one. So far that couldn't be further from the truth. This is my first transaction with this new account and I'm already seriously considering just refunding the money, canceling this account and re-doing the transaction through my personal one. Because this seems like more headache than it's worth.
