So I've had a problem with not being able to log into my paypal account for half a year or so. I've not been using my PayPal much, and when the problem started to occur, I tried around for a bit before giving up on a solution. I've not have access to my old phone number for a very long time, and PayPal wants me to login with a code sent to that number. I've tried virtually anything help related on PayPal, and everything leads back to either having to send a code to my old phone number, or logging in to continue to get help, which I can't since we're then back to square one of having to send a code to an old number. The only options I get when clicking the "problem logging in" link is; getting an e-mail resetting my password, which is not what I want, nor what helps accessing the account getting a call from PayPal (again, old number, doesn't work) getting a text... old number Writing this up is actually making me annoyed, because there is no way to message PayPal support without logging in, and back when I first encountered the issue, the phone number provided to PayPal support gave me an automated message that they could not help with my problem, trying over multiple days. Now when I try to reach PayPal support, the number provided is to a Danish "Help live without violence" call center in Denmark, which is ironic, because the further I type this issue down, the more I want to punch my monitor. Does anyone here have an idea on what I can do to resolve this issue? I can't see any other options at this point than to ask here.
