Hi, I sent a package via media mail as is the common practice in the homeschool community when buying/selling. The package arrived at the addressee's home but had clearly been opened and there was tape that said resealed by USPS. They are allowed to open media mail to verify contents but it looks like they also removed some items as 2 of the 3 books were not in there. The buyer now wants a full refund (don't blame her) but it wasn't my fault. USPS clearly opened the package. The only proof I have that I sent all the books is the weight of the package but I did not take photos or purchase insurance. Am I just out of luck and have to refund her? Do I have options. I'm not trying to **bleep** her out of money but someone took those books.
