In cases like this the PayPal buyer protection is completely worthless! Recently I got scammed by Whish, and ended up having to return an item I did not order to get the refund. Return shipping was more than the value of the item, and allthough i tried opening a dialog with Paypal about it, they just closed the case, and closed my complaint. They call this solution "Resolved" 😤 There seems to be a group of sellers exploiting Paypals way of dealing with this. Sending a worthless piece of crap instead of the item ordered, and then offering 1/3 of the original item price as a partial refund, and if you decline, seller will be demanding a return of the item (the one you never ordered, and who is not worth the return shipping) before they will refund. If you do not enter a working tracking number of a return shippment into the resolution center (of your own cost) within a few days, Paypal closes the case as resolved. The scammer wins, and Paypal has it´s name all over it. 😡 Now, I am one of the lucky winners of a pleather wallet insted of a fancy desk clock, and I see the buyer behaving in the same way after i opened up a claim. I am afraid there will be another "return item for refund offer" This time I paid by cc, and will not settle with anything but a refund! One could think Paypal would react when they see a flow of complaints about the same seller... https://www.trustpilot.com/review/playsdom.com
