I opened a case after seller did not solve the issue( different item sent to me) PayPal did not solve the issue as well and they told me to escalate to pay pal credit(different entity than pay pal) and they told me once it is escalated they close the case on their end . I said ok and I opened a dispute with pay pal credit. however PayPal didn't close the case as they supposed to do. After I handled the issue with sellers platform company The company tried to refund me but they couldn't because there was an open case and they told me to lift the dispute and the open case. I did that and after a week I received an e-mail confirmation from pay pal credit(synchrony bank ) that dispute is closed The platform company tried to refund again but they couldn't because PayPal didn't close the case on their end. By the way I called hundred times asking them to close the case I told them dispute is closed on PayPal credit I sent them the e-mail confirmation letter that I got from Pay pal credit showing dispute is closed on msjs. They cut my communication now every time I call customer service it goes to Vmail saying We cant help you at this time. Than they cut my msjs now it is showing msj is not available. They are keeping the case open against my will and against their own policy. They also told me at the beginning that PayPal credit will notify them and than they will close the case Straight up lie. because when I talked to PayPal credit manager he said they don't send them anything because they are separate from pay pal. They just handle their end and send me the confirmation email which they did. I'm super troubled with Paypal and its actions. This is a simple issue doesn't need to be a huge problem with all restrictions, lies, incompetence Can someone help?
