I run tours in Thailand and we sometimes get a deposit to secure certain tours, for the first time since i been doing this someone decided they were not going on the tour at the last minute, instead if speaking with us did a dispute. Never had a dispute before. I was in talks with the customer to go on another date and was agreeing on next weekend, i told paypal what was going on, that it was a non refundable deposit for a tour, as per my terms and conditions that the customer has ticked and they just gave her the money back and on top charged me 250 baht for the trouble, how the hell is that right. They are getting outrageous now, they charge 4 percent in Thailand for a start, if someone cancels a tour i still have to pay the transaction fees which is annoying as people cancel things when plans change. But this just takes the actual xxxx how can they justify this???? I am absolutely gob smacked they didn't read a word i sent and just reversed saying i didn't prove the customer had recieved the goods.
