Dear Community, For my online education business, I want to open a US Paypal Business account ('US PP-B'). A) Here is what my personal situation is & what I have done regarding legal work so far: I am a Non-US citizen (Swiss origin). I don't have a private US address. I am living in the Czech Republic. I have incorporated a Single-Member LLC in Wyoming, USA. The company has an EIN. Registered address etc. The LLC has a working US bank account, opened on the base of the EIN. Issue: When opening a US PP-B account, I am asked for an SSN, despite having the EIN. The EIN doesn't seem to be enough. I could additionally apply for an ITIN (since I am not eligible to get an SSN). B) My questions Is a valid ITIN "good enough" to replace the SSN within the Paypal system, meaning no SSN needed when having an ITIN? (I can update the ITIN in my account: https://www.paypal.com/businessmanage/account/accountOwner) If ITIN works instead of SSN: Is it a problem that I don't have a personal address in the US? The company of course has a legal registered address. Thanks for any hint helping me to find out if I should pursue an ITIN or if there's not much reasonable hope to get a US PP-B. Cheers, Dan
