Totally agree re mobiles and it is SO frustrating that we ALL should have one - Yes, I do as it was used for out of office marketing with shows we were involved with.   However I will not use unless absolutely necessary and calls divert to home line.   Everywhere you go you see people (even when they have children with them) just nose in to their phones. Only a day or so ago I was walking up the road to a T-junction and a young twit just walked straight out into the road - no looking to see about traffic..........dumb twit.   "....sign in to our app and get this, that or whatever" - EVERYthing has to be app related. NO it doesn't....or shouldn't!   PAYPAL - it's about time you sorted this out for people who are having trouble. Not everyone WANTS a mobile phone ... View more

G'morning to you all.   Milady and I have just had a call to Paypal!!   We were in touch with a superb lady who has got us into the Paypal Accounts - she was excellent and very patient when details etc had to be looked up.   I mentioned that real anger that has been visible here!! She is going to pass this on and hopefully something can be done for any of you who don't have mobiles etc....   She said to call 0800 358 9448 and they SHOULD be able to assist - that is the number milady had found. (Has anyone tried that number before?)   Well - we got thro'. I DID eventually decide to add my mobile, although I was not keen to do so, but I mentioned that a LOT of people don't have mobiles and will not be able to text etc.   I believe (hopefully!!) that this lady will speak to people to try to rectify the situation.   I hope that's helpful to you all.....I certainly hope so as it has been SO bad for help / communication...   Bye for now   Mike     ... This whole "thing" is not right. It's allowing anyone who may not have a mobile phone to be penalised by not getting into their accounts and ought to be illegal.   Our bank does have a similar thing, but at least you get a choice to do it with a land line. Oh yes and it is so irritating!   I have just tried through the facebook account messenger - total rubbish and waste of time.....Grrrrrrrrr!!!!!!   #paypal don't like customers who do not want to have or use mobile technology   Milady uses (used to!!) pp for ebay etc. Now she cannot get access either......   Possibly all because some "young person" with no thoughts other than techno ways to work thought this was a good idea I suspect........!!!!! ... It seems that they're NOT INTERESTED in helping. I have a similar issue as does milady. I do not have a mobile registered on paypal - just a landline. Yet again it seems that Paypal don't really seem to care about people who don't, won't or cannot use a mobile phone - for whatever reason they may have.  Another strike for people trying to make life difficult these days. Disgusting and totally wrong - like a lot of stuff these days......   If there's a problem with my account, I guess it doesn't matter and I won't have to sort it out.
