I am not a seller, never sold anything online. The only activity on my account was my unemployment deposited into my account. About a month I had my account then one morning when I woke up I had a notification stating "you can no longer use PayPal services". I immediately contacted them and was not given a reason why this happened. This happened in June on 2020. On Dec 24th 2020, 4 days before my 180 day mark, another limitation was placed on my account. I was then told I had to wait another 180 days before I could withdraw my money. They have over $5 thousand dollars of mine. Please please please someone help me.!! How do I get my money back. Thank you to anyone who can and is willing to help me. **Update** So it has been 212 days since my account was permanently restricted. I've since filed a claim with www.fairshake.com whom will be handling my legal claim against PayPal. I've also filed complaints with both the BBB & CFPB (I recommend you do the same). 6 days before the 180 day mark, another limitation was placed on my account. After some extensive digging and numerous hours on the phone I was told the reason all this happened in the first place, was because I never verified my identity. I was approved for a PayPal Cash plus acct, the debit card so naturally your assume you were verified. Wrong, PayPal does this backwards. You get the acct, the debit card then once you recieve the debit card, to activate, you must verify. I requested my card 2x, both were "undeliverable" for reasons ONLY the post office would know IF they actually returned mail stating this. I spoke to my post master and they Confirmed both reasons paypal gave for my card not being delivered, was something PayPal MADE UP. PayPal tried to say either my address was incorrect, or invalid. The post office doesn't return mail notifying the sender of either of those, it only says return to sender. Long story short, because I never received my debit card, after 2 "failed" delivery attempts, I was permanently restricted due to possible fraud. This information came from an employee at PayPal who works in both the limitations department and the PayPal cash card services. This is a mistake PayPal made, I had no idea I was supposed to verify my identity AFTER I received a debit card, naturally because I never received one. If helps anyone that's awesome, but if ANYONE can help me in taking the next step towards PayPal I would be forever grateful.
