I changed phone numbers without updating my PayPal and now I can't login because it's trying to send a text message to a phone that I don't have anymore. This is genuinely the most frustrating experience I've had with Paypal because when I try to call via automated system: the automated system hangs up on me by saying, "we cant support your query at this time." I never was able to connect to an agent. I have tried, COUNTLESS TIMES, connecting to an online-chat agent and the result ends the same: ALL of them just stop responding to the messages. Dead-silence. I've input my FULL Social Security number, last four digits of my bank, last four digits on the card, and that's not good enough to disable the 2FA. I also have access to my email address. What else more do you want? I was connected to an account specialist, ONE TIME, and then after a while they just went silent in the chat.
