Hi I sold an ipad on ebay and this was sent with next day delivery via Hermes. However, the buyer received a different package (An amazon travel flask) but it had my label cut off and stuck on. I ruled out foul play on the buyers end as the package he received was a genuine Amazon order and we tracked down the owner using the invoice details who confirmed he was supposed to receive this travel flask but received a football instead. Its clear an employee at Hermes stole the ipad and swapped the labels around a few packages to cover his tracks. The buyer has put in a dispute with Paypal saying 'item is not as described' and despite providing PayPal with all the evidence of the theft, they have not given me any instructions on what seller protection is available. Currently they want me to just resolve the incident by saying I have received the travel flask he has sent back to me and process the refund. Obviously Hermes have completely ignored my attempts to investigate and have just paid me £20 in compensation and closed my case. What should I do with regards to Paypal?
