Haven't been able to find similar situations, so I'm asking for help here from the forum users and gurus. My website has just gone on-line. The business is transferring content from LP records to digital formats. The business model is non-traditional in that the client and me go through a couple of steps before money changes hands. Here's the process as I envision it: Potential customer finds site, wants to convert some LP's Fills out and submits the form on the Order page. This gets his information to me, and - I respond, telling him where to send his LP. I receive the physical LP at which time I send him an invoice. He comes back to the site, uses the Paypal option to pay the invoice. I convert the LP to digital and burn a CD. I send the LP and CD by mail to the customer. What Squarespace allows doesn't fit with steps 4 and 5. I receive the physical LP, then bill client and get paid (so I don't end up holding a bunch of old LPs but no money for my work), then I do the conversion and send the products back to the client. I'd like to get a Paypal button on my Order tab, but it wouldn't be used at the time of the original transaction: only after client sends and I receive the LP. Squarespace wants a cart filled from Order, then paid at checkout to finish the transaction. Obviously, that won't work for my model. I'm open to suggestions or out-of-box ideas here and will appreciate any assistance you care to give. TIA.
