Hi Everyone, Looking for some insight into a dispute that I have open with a seller. Background: Found a product and seller's website via a Facebook ad, ordered the product on December 1st, and received confirmation and receipt of payment. I have not since then received shipping information and when I tried to contact the seller about the status of the product, I realized their website is shut down. I have tried to find the seller online but been unsuccessful so I submitted a dispute via Paypal, the seller returned a message and explained that there have been shipping delays due to the pandemic but that they will be shipping the product in the next 3-5 business days, additionally they asked me to close down the case because if it is open they are unable to send it. I wonder, does the seller really need to have a dispute closed to ship out the product? Does PayPal print shipping labels to the sellers? and if a dispute is open, is the seller unable to send the product? Appears unlikely and I am suspicious that this is a scam. Even looking at the "e-mail" used by the seller on Paypal appears to be more of a made-up personal account vs. business. The seller did not address why their website is shut down and why their contact information cannot be found. Any input would be appreciated, thank you, everyone!
