I have had a pleasant experience with PayPal up till now. I have had transactions go wrong and until now PayPal has handled them well. My last purchase was a fraudulent listing. I received a broken, soiled, FILTHY, unsatisfactory item. The resolution center decided I should mail it back with delivery confirmation, which costs twice as much as Ir paid to shipl it to me in the first place. So now I await my "refund" for about 50% of what I originally paid for the item. No recourse for the fraudulent listing, I'm just out 6$. Fortunately this cost is low, but the principle remains the same. The fraudulent lister gets off scott free and I lose money to ship trash back to the seller. Wow, what a resolution. I understand that when you return something typically the returner should pay shipping. But a fraudulent listing?? Why should that cost the buyer? I'm very disappointed in PayPal for this, and further disappointed that there are not better alternatives to send money online at the moment. So I will do what I can do, leave negative feedback and warn all my friends.
